Biography
James Hartage and Liddie Della Parrish were farmers who lived with their family in Pleasant Grove Township, Johnston County, NC.
Mr. Parrish was born November 16, 1873, to Benjamin and Civil Ann Stephenson Parrish. Liddie Della Parrish was born May 31, 1871, to James and Louisa Parrish. The couple married on August 11, 1901, and had the following children: Benjamin Harvey (1902-1967), James Charlie (1903-1959), Cara Lee (1905-1981).
Mr. Parrish died May 5, 1937, and Mrs. Parrish on May 21, 1930. They were both buried at Rehoboth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Benson, Johnston County, NC.
