Biography

Carl Selwyn Pugh, Jr., was a retired U. S. Army Officer and a free-lance writer of short stories and film scripts.

Born on December 12, 1918, he was a son of Carl S., Sr. (1886-1971), and Amelia Myatt Pugh (1892-1989). He had a brother named William St. Clair Pugh (1922-2014).

Pugh, Jr., married Jean Haydock on February 19, 1951, and the couple had three children: Carla; Carl, III; John. He died on June 24, 1984, in Miami, FL, where he is buried.
