Beddingfield, Bettie Williams, 1864-1927
Biography
Bettie Williams was born in April, 1864. She married Alonzo Theodore Beddingfield (May 10, 1852-October 30, 1921) on June 20, 1878. The couple had six children: Jennie T. (1880-1915); Edgar Theodore (1885-1953); Walter Linwood (1887-1944); Henry Ruffin (1892-1955); Charles H. “Colonel” (1893-1967); Royal Wingate (1899-1936).
Mrs. Beddingfield died December 18, 1927, and she, as well as her husband, are buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Clayton, NC.

The scrapbook also contains an index created by Virginia Lee Satterfield in 1976 when the scrapbook was copied from the original and donated to the Johnston County Room of the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield.
