Biography
Fletcher Austin was born May 5, 1859, in Johnston County, NC, to Elbert and Kittie Austin, and made a living by farming.
Mr. Austin married Annie Mitchell (August 12, 1867-November 5, 1958) in 1890, and the couple had the following children: Luther, Zula, Milton, Utley, Jim, Clarence, Drucilla, Rufus, and Christine.
Fletcher died August 12, 1927, and Annie on November 5, 1958. They are buried in Montlawn Cemetery, Wake County, NC.
