This collection consists of individual photographs that have been donated, copied and preserved by the Johnston County Heritage Center. Many of these are portrait photographs of individuals and families.

Within this item there exists three photographs. The first is a close-up, sepia image of the Smithfield High School class of 1929 posing in front of the High School building. The second photograph is a small, black-and-white photograph with the students still posing in the same scene. The third photograph is an enlarged, copy of the second photograph.
