Martha F. Smith was born to Lucy C. and Issac J. Smith on June 8, 1871.

She married N. B. Barbour January 13, 1901. He died in 1902. Martha married Charles Benton Ogburn February 23, 1911. Charles B. Ogburn died April 25, 1915. Martha married Thomas R. Barbour October 8, 1916. Tomas R. Barbour died October 5, 1924. Martha married Joseph Marion Langdon January 26, 1928. Joseph Marion Langdon died May 17, 1936.

In the 1940 census Martha is listed as living with her step son Thomas Clarence Barbour. This is the last record in which she appears. Although the Find a Grave memorial lists her death year as 1945, there is no primary source to corroborate this or give a more specific death date.
