Biography
William Browning was born September 14, 1794, to Richard (1743-1836) and Elizabeth Moses Browning (1775-1847). Browning married Sarah Sallie Pullen (September 5, 1802-Juy, 1856) on April 28, 1824, in Wake County. The couple had five children, Lucy H. Browning (b. June 5, 1826); Ann R. Browning (December 16, 1828-August 20, 1852); William S. Browning (b. March 13-1834); Louis Richard Browning (May 23, 1838-1888); Samuel Browning (b. 1838).
